Winnisquam Regional High School offers several after-school clubs and activities for students. This page provides brief information for each activity.   • Bear Ambassadors

    Do you want to be INVOLVED with the school? Serve as a REPRESENTATIVE of your school to new students and the community? IMPROVE Student to Student Relationships and school Climate? Join the Bear Ambassadors! As a Bear Ambassador you will be serving as a representative of WRHS to new students & at our school events. Our mission is to also promote a positive school climate and culture.

  • Student Council

    Members of Student Council contribute to WRHS and our towns by planning events such as Homecoming, Winter Carnival, and Spring Fling, helping to set policies in the school by meeting with the School’s Leadership team, and engaging in other community projects.  This year, Student Council has expanded our efforts to collaborate with several community organizations and the Town of Northfield to revitalize the David King Tryon Memorial Skate Park.

  • National FFA Organization

    FFA is the largest student-run leadership organization in the US! FFA provides students with the opportunity to become career ready in all industries, earn awards and scholarships, and compete against students on local and national levels. Students take what they learn in class, apply it to building leadership skills, and use those skills to cultivate success in their future careers. What this FFA Video on YouTube!

  • National Honor Society

    Elevates the school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

  • New Hampshire State Scholars

    New Hampshire State Scholars is a community-based program that encourages students to take a more rigorous Core Course of Study in high school. The NH State Scholars club meets to fundraise to be able to give out scholarships for graduating seniors who earned the recognition of being a NH State Scholar.   • Student Athletic Leadership Team (SALT)

    The Student Athlete Leadership Team strives to improve leadership skills among our student athletes, while helping to enhance energy and enthusiasm into Winnisquam Regional High School Athletics. Members of S.A.L.T. will help coordinate guest speakers, special events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, athletic events and service learning opportunities. Our members will discuss various topics that impact student athletes today and will provide a forum for student athletes to voice suggestions on how to enhance the overall athletic experience for all our student athletes at Winnisquam Regional High School.

  • Winnisquam Chamber Singers

    Depending on submitted auditions and voicing/membership requirements, this is a 28- to 32-voice auditioned, SATB choir from the WRHS student body. This ensemble learns and performs demanding, college-level choral repertoire from a large variety of musical genres. This choir has performed repertoire by Eric Whitacre, Daniel Elder, Morten Lauridsen, Dr. Z. Randall, Stroope, Gwyneth Walker, and others. Languages performed include Latin, Swahili, Zulu, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and more. Multiple performances throughout the year all over New England.

    Meeting Schedule
    Seven concert and festival performances each year. Mandatory rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 6:30pm – 8:30pm throughout the school year. (Extra rehearsals can be planned as needed when approaching a concert or a festival.)

  • French Club

    French Club gives the students an opportunity to have fun with the language. We listen to French songs, play French games and discuss French current events. We will hold a fundraiser from time to time but do not have any plans for a trip as of yet.

  • Spanish Club

    Spanish Club gives students an opportunity to stay exposed to the language and culture throughout the year even when they don’t have Spanish class. It also provides them the opportunity to share what they’ve learned about Spanish culture with the wider community. Last year, Spanish Club fundraised extensively and took a week long trip to Costa Rica. Next school year, during April vacation 2022, we’re headed to the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, South America!

  • Interact

    Interact clubs bring together students to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Interact club members have fun while carrying out service projects and learning about the world. The WRHS Interact club works together with the Tilton-Northfield Rotary to work on services projects to benefit our community.
