Digital Classroom Platforms

Clever is an online tool that connects digital learning in a single place. When you and your child log in to Clever, you can access all their digital learning accounts there. In other words, no need to log in separately to different accounts! You can find a video introduction to Clever on Winnisquam's YouTube Channel.
Google Classroom is an online learning platform where your child's teacher organizes their assignments. It connects to other Google tools like Google Meet, Google Docs, and Google Calendar. Here’s a Google Classroom Cheatsheet for students, and you can view a video about Google Classroom for parents on YouTube. Login to your WRSD Google account, and select Google Classroom from the Google app launcher on the upper right. You can also log in with Clever.
Google Meet is a video conferencing app that allows teachers and students to conduct face to face classroom meetings. Your child will access their classroom meetings with a unique Google Meet link. Here is a Guardian’s Guide to Google Meet. Login to your WRSD Google account, and select Google Meet from the Google app launcher on the upper right. You can also log in with Clever.
Your teacher will update PowerSchool to provide information about your child's learning progress. You can check the platform to see if your child is missing any assignments and where they may need more help with learning. Zoom is a video conferencing app that allows teachers and students to conduct face to face classroom meetings. Your child will access their classroom meetings with a unique Zoom link. To join a session, click on the link provided by the teacher. To access the site, go to https://zoom.us/ and login with your WRSD Google account.

Wonders is the main digital learning platform for K - 2 ELA. Wonders supports your child with all aspects of reading and writing. Be sure to access Wonders through your child's Clever account.
Raz-Kids is another important digital learning platform for 3-5 ELA. Raz-Kids helps your child practice reading. It connects them with texts on their reading level. It also helps them read and understand texts accurately. You and your child can access your child's Raz-Kids account through Clever.
Zearn is an online learning platform where your child can practice math facts and solve math problems. Your child's teacher will assign activities in Zearn to reinforce math lessons. You and your child can access Zearn through Clever.
Happy Numbers is an online learning platform that supports your child in developing number sense Your child's teacher will assign activities in Happy Numbers based on their learning needs. You and your child can access Happy Numbers through Clever.
Reflex is an online learning platform that students use starting in 1st grade. Students grow their math fluency through this platform. You and your child can access Reflex through Clever.
Mystery Science has lessons that include videos and experiments. Units are sorted by grade levels. There are also videos for distance learning and mini lessons.
Generation Genius has science videos by subject area. The goal is to engage students with fun activities and quizzes.
BrainPopJr offers animated videos that are curriculum-based. Your child can access the site through Clever.
