Well-Being Ideas and Resources

High school students need support from caregivers and educators to learn how to take responsibility for their learning, develop healthy relationships, make responsible decisions. We’ve created a collection of key ideas and resources to support young people and their families.


RULER is a social-emotional learning program offered through the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Winnisquam is please to offer RULER for students in grades 6-12. It stands for R – recognize, U – understand, L – label, E – express, and R – regulate. It is all based around our emotions.

Signs of Suicide

Signs of Suicide is a training program about suicide prevention given to Winnisquam student from grades 6-12. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, please call 1-800-237-TALK (8255). The National Suicide Prevention Lifelife is available 24/7, offering free and confidential support for people in distress, as well as prevention and crisis resources for you and your loved ones.
