Well-Being Ideas and Resources

Middle school students need support from caregivers and educators to learn how to manage their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions. We’ve created a collection of key ideas and resources to support young people and their families.


RULER is a Social-Emotional Learning program offered through the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Winnisquam is pleased to offer RULER for students in grades 6-12. It stands for R – recognize, U – understand, L – label, E – express, and R – regulate. It is all based around our emotions.
